Professor Ebbinghaus gave a presentation on pension reforms as part of the panel on Demographic change, labour market transformation, and the future of pension solidarity. As first speaker, he reviewed the main trends of demographic ageing and employment flexibilization for the sustainablity and adaquacy/fairness of pensions in the future. The Hearing (see video) on 23 June 20026 (14:35-16:06) on ”Promoting solidarity within and between generations through decent pensions” was held by the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs of the European Parliament.
